8/17: Continents and Oceans

Students will be able to name, label, and locate the seven continents and five oceans.

TEKS:  29H

Activities:
1.  I will show you my website.
2.  Explain how the board is set up.
3.  We will complete the reference section of our journal.
4.  Using the desks, we will draw and label a map of the world from memory.
5.  We will check our work as a class using a PP and complete a correctly labeled map to add into our journal page 1.

Friday we will take a quiz over continents and oceans.

8/16: First Day of School

We will be given our assigned seats and go over classroom rules and procedures.  Hand out composition notebooks and begin assembling the reference section.
